Video Editor / ROC Videographer - Hamilton

The Refugee Orientation Centre Trust helps former refugees integrate well into the community through educational programs. We are looking for a videographer to shoot and edit videos of our programs, events and other marketing initiatives to reach out to vulnerable refugee communities in Waikato. The target is to reach as many refugee individuals/communities as possible online, encouraging them to make the most of the programmes we offer

Requirements:

This role will suit someone who is committed to making a positive change to our organisation's marketing. You will need to be well-organised, a good communicator and be able to show initiative, with skills including:

  • Video production experience
  • Video editing experience
  • Good level of experience working with current professional editing software

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Volunteers will liaise with our program coordinators and capture our programs according to set program schedules online. As this is ongoing work, volunteers may need to commit about 4-5 hours a week on capturing footage and editing.
