Our 1400 retail volunteers keep our shops running smoothly. Our volunteers generally work four hours per week. They are reliable individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and like giving back to the community. They generally have an interest in fashion and are looking to get valuable work experience. Our volunteers gain retail and customer service skills and receive on-the-job-training.
We are currently seeking volunteer retail assistants in our busy Frankton store to work a half day shift weekly. You will be operating the till and EFTPOS, putting out stock, tidying the shop floor, and pricing.
Staff discount is offered after one month of volunteering.
You will have excellent customer service skills, cash handling skills, along with numeracy and literacy skills. We are seeking people with a great personality who are reliable and honest.
Needs to have up to date vaccine information due to the nature of the role.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
One shift per week with the option of doing more if you have availability.
Shop hours are Monday - Friday (8.30am - 4.30pm) Saturday (8.30am - 1pm).
There can be flexibility with hours if discussed with the manager.
