We are a group of volunteers supporting the native forest restoration project in the gully at the Morrinsville Road end of Silverdale Road.
Our work is mainly removing weeds with some planting in the winter.

Volunteers learn about weeds, native plants, ecological systems, native forest restoration methods and some understanding of natural water systems. We have fun connecting with nature and with people from the local community. We also develop networks with people with like-minded skills and interests.

By participating in this volunteering project you will be supporting the work of the Hamilton City Council and of local iwi to bring back nature to the city.
