CARE COMMUNITY, ANIMAL RESCUE and EDUCATION.
We are the region's only NO KILL Animal Rescue that works with all animals.
Our aims are:
to develop a more humane community through education, and to significantly impact the way young people think about their responsibility to one another, animals and their environment.
To promote a combined focus on environmental ethics and animal welfare.
We work cooperatively with other community organisations.
We educate the community on the appropriate care of animals.
We provide a safe haven for animals in strife. We treat, rehabilitate, and then re-home. We are proud of our volunteers who are skilled at matching our animals with the appropriate families.
All CARE animals are vet-checked, de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed & flead, and dogs are registered. Our dogs have basic training before being adopted.
We are a passionate, Taupō based group, that believes every animal is precious. Rescued animals need a home, some of them just need a place to chill and grow before being placed in a permanent home, whilst other need to recover.
