Spring Hill Corrections Facility
Ara Poutama Aotearoa - Department of Corrections works to make New Zealand a safer place by protecting the public from those who can cause harm and by reducing re-offending. We do this by ensuring the prisoners, parolees and other offenders in the community comply with the sentences and orders imposed by the Courts and Parole Board. We also provide offenders with rehabilitation programmes, education and job training that will turn their lives around and break the cycle of re-offending.
