The Waikato Breast Cancer Research Trust focuses on BEST research advances, BEST treatments, and BEST practices to provide those diagnosed with breast cancer, BEST possible outcomes. The Trust was established in 2000 by a group of breast cancer specialist doctors and nurses at Waikato Hospital who wanted to make clinical trials possible and accessible to those diagnosed with breast cancer. The Waikato District Health Board received, and still to this day receives minimal government funding for research. So the Trust became a platform for fundraising, receiving donations, and submitting grants to make research for better outcomes happen for our patients!
We need your help in securing items for raffle baskets that are part of the annual Pink Walk and Button Run fundraiser. We also need spot prizes to give away to walk and run participants.
