Life Education Trust - Hamilton
We aim to give primary and intermediate children knowledge and skills to live a fulfilling healthy life so they will become confident contributing adults. We focus on health, resilience, promote self-esteem, and how to develop skills to make informed healthy choices. We teach children what is ok and not ok in regard to personal safety, behaviour towards others and relationships; we teach them about respect for others, and the magnificence of the human body by using technology to demonstrate its functions and needs.
We encourage them to learn and lead, to explore and discuss, to find solutions to build self-esteem and social skills. These skills carry children into adulthood.
An exciting opportunity is available to join the Life Education Hamilton Trust Board. We are seeking enthusiastic, community minded people to contribute to the values and success of Life Education Trust Hamilton, a New Zealand registered charity.
