The Waikato A&P Show is one of the oldest events in New Zealand – established in 1892. The weekend is full of traditional animal competitions, heaps of entertainment for the Whānau and supports local with a range of outdoor market stalls. The Waikato A&P Show is a unique event that has brought urban and rural communities together for over 100 years.
The Waikato Show is all about fun and connecting the people of the Waikato by experiencing the multiple cultures in our region through arts, entertainment and food. From its early days as an Agricultural and Dairy Show in 1907, the Waikato Show is unique in New Zealand and has grown to become a showcase of the Waikato. It celebrates and offers a taste of the region’s diverse communities, organisations, and businesses.
