Chris joined the Volunteering Waikato team in 2015 after having been the volunteer coordinator at Waikato Hospital for 13 years. Prior to that she worked in the community sector as an educator / funder and loves being part of a diverse and dynamic volunteer sector. When not at work Chris enjoys pottering in her garden, Tai Chi, experimental cookery and assisting Chartwell Lions Club with projects in her local community.

General Manager

Chelsea joined Volunteering Waikato in 2023 after holding various leadership positions throughout the private and public sector. Most recently, she was the General Legal Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for a US manufacturing firm but has also worked in international development throughout the Asia-Pacific and North America and for various not-for-profit organizations. Chelsea loves to volunteer through providing pro bono legal services, as she is a member of the District of Columbia and New Hampshire State Bar Associations, as well as the International Law Section and Forum on Air and Space Law of the American Bar Association. While not working, she loves getting outdoors for a hike, gardening, writing, or spending time with her animals.

Marketing and Community Coordinator

Lydia joined the volunteer Waikato team in 2024 after graduating from the University of Waikato with a business degree in Marketing and Communications. With a love for community, Lydia is excited to use her marketing skills to increase awareness for volunteering organisations throughout Waikato. Outside of work, Lydia enjoys getting out into the bush for an overnight stay, spending time with her nieces and nephews or reading a good book.

Eniko Sheehan

Eniko Sheehan

Community Advisor

Eniko recently joined the VW team after working and volunteering for many non-profit organisations in Hamilton like Victim Support, Vinnies, New Zealand Red Cross, Salvation Army, Orphan Aid, etc. During this time, she got involved with volunteer recruitment and training.

She also has qualification on Nutritional Psychology & Life Coach, Hospitality & Tourism, and Wine Science. However, Eniko has real passion for volunteering, recruitment and looking after volunteers.

Eniko is a single mum with a teenage daughter, a dog named Gigi and 12 guinea pig. In her not so much free time she likes to read, bake, do yoga and spend time with friends.
