December 9-24, four hour shifts

Wrap Christmas gifts at a wrapping booth in one of two shopping centres - Centre Place or The Base, raising funds for Volunteering Waikato. Volunteers work in pairs, with two booths available at Centre Place and three booths at The Base. You will need great customer service skills, a good level of conversational English and a high level of personal presentation as you will be working in a corporate environment.

You will get to be part of a fun team, meet other volunteers, be part of the Christmas buzz.
Learn the art of gift wrapping.
Promote the concept of volunteering in our community.

Requirements:

You must be confident gift wrappers, able to wrap in a neat and tidy way, however we do provide training for your staff if needed.
You must be able to work independently, work quickly when things get busy, and have a high level of personal presentation.
You must also be able to stand for 4-5 hours.
You must be confident to use a mobile EFTPOS machine but don't worry training will be provided.
If you have work branded shirts you are welcome to wear these for your shift.
