Everyone knows children learn better when they are not hungry. This organisation aims to give school aged children in our community the means to attend school every day with full tummies, and their Loaves and Fishes programme helps to achieve that goal.

Spend a couple of hours putting together a healthy lunchbox. Duties include making and wrapping sandwiches and putting the lunches together in selected school boxes, ready to be delivered. You will get the good feeling of knowing that you are helping your community. You will get to know different people and form good friendships. Please get contact for available dates.

By participating in this volunteering opportunity you are helping achieve the following United Nations Sustainability Goals ;

Goal 1 - No poverty
Goal 2 - Zero hunger
Goal 3 - Good health and well-being
Gaol 4 - Quality education
Goal 10 - Reduced inequalities
Goal 11 - Sustainable cities and communities

A big friendly smile and a positive attitude is most important. Clean and tidy dress, including closed toe shoes. Food prep and kitchen skills would be helpful.
