Unite Through Futsal – Volunteer for an Epic Event!

Ready to make an impact and be part of something awesome? Join the ROC Trust at our Ethnic Futsal Tournament on Saturday 31st May at The Peak, Rototuna North! This one-day event is all about bringing people together – former refugees from places like Afghanistan, Colombia, Syria, and more, uniting with locals through the power of futsal (that’s 5-a-side football, by the way!). It’s an exciting way to break barriers, build friendships, and keep the "Jambo" spirit alive.

ROC’s mission is simple: we want former refugees thriving, not just surviving. This means creating strong support networks, financial independence, and a welcoming community for all.

Why Volunteer?

  • Boost your event management skills
  • Work with a diverse, high-energy team

What We Need:

  • Referees: Keep the game fun and fair while ensuring the matches stay exciting.
  • Refreshment Crew Make sure players stay hydrated and ready to go – you’ll also be the go-to for any medical needs.

It’s a great chance to get involved, have fun, and gain hands-on experience, all while supporting a meaningful cause and helping former refugees feel at home in Hamilton.
