The Guide Dog Puppy Appeal is an annual street collection for Blind Low Vision NZ. During Guide Dog Puppy Appeal, our volunteers hit the streets to raise funds towards the breeding and training of guide dogs and raise awareness around the incredible role these dogs play in the lives of those living with vision loss.
Did you know that it can take up to $175,000 to breed, train and keep a Guide Dog in service?
As a local Coordinator you will help organise street collectors in your area.
If you are organised, friendly and approachable, then we need you!
The appeal will be on Friday 22 & Saturday 23 March 2024.
Fill in the form below and we will be in touch soon!
Need to be 18 years and over
A police check will be required for this role
We would love to hear from you even if you only have a few hours to spare! Ideally, coordinators will be able to commit to both of our collection days, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 March 2024.
There is also some preparation and coordination to be managed in the lead up to the collection days and some wrap up time at the end.
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
