Are you looking for an opportunity to give back to your community and support the front-line of our essential ambulance service? Look no further! Hato Hone St John is seeking volunteer Fleet Assistants to support our workshop teams in Auckland (East Tamaki) and Hamilton.

As Fleet Assistant, you'll primarily ensure the safe and timely movement of vehicles between locations to support service delivery. You could be dropping vehicles at local workshops and dealers or delivering / collecting vehicles from further afield, depending on the business need. You could also be supporting the technicians with vehicle servicing and decommission or ensuring that the vehicles are groomed to a high standard.

Requirements:

A full and clean NZ driver's licence for at least 12 months or have completed an approved NZTA advanced driving course (if full licence held for less than 12 months)
Excellent driving record
18 years of age or over
New Zealand citizenship or permanent resident status
Effective time management and organisation skills
A basic technical knowledge of vehicles is advantageous

Time commitment:

We have availability for regular days or shifts during business hours Monday to Friday, to fit around your other commitments.
