Every shift at the Bureau is different. We deal with a range of enquiries from members of the public and other organisations. We are the connector, the bridge between our clients and the solution or support that they need.
We use our website to find out the best advice to give our clients as well as our Community Directory to get people practical support. Our training is set at your pace, an Interviewer will support you through each learning stage and once you have completed the training you do receive an Accreditation for the work that you have completed. There are also social occasions, annual events, and ongoing learning.
We would like all our volunteers to consider committing for at least 6 months.
We have retired volunteers as well as University Students volunteering with us and everyone in between. The more volunteers we have, the stronger the service we provide and the more communities we can reach. Our age range is between 19 and 84 at the moment so please feel free to apply and see if this is the role for you.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
