Join our happy team of volunteers and help within our local Community Resale Shop. Your contribution helps us build an active, thriving community, where people feel connected and have opportunities to live the best life possible.
Volunteers in our Community Resale Shop have tasks that include:
Meeting and greeting customers and assisting them find what they are looking for.
Sorting clothing and general donations
Creating and maintaining displays
Some cleaning to help us keep neat and tidy
To do this role with confidence you must:
Be physically fit with good mobility i.e.. bending, ability to lift items up to 5kg
Be reliable & Trustworthy
Enjoy working with others and giving back to our Community
If you have a positive, friendly approach to the people you meet and the work you do, we'd love to hear from you.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Opening Hours are 10am - 2pm, Monday to Friday
Flexible times to suit you or pick a day to suit you.
If you do not wish to make a regular commitment but would like to be "on call" around your availability, this is an option also.
