We are seeking a Treasurer to join our Committee and provide support in our work to process applications seeking financial or administrative support to groups and individuals who are providing services and/or support to local Blind Low Vision NZ members.
Work together with other members of the Committee, Blind Low Vision NZ clients and staff, as appropriate.
• Be able to attend monthly meetings.
• Be of good character.
• Have access to, and be proficient in using, a computer.
• Understand meeting procedure.
• Be able to work as a team member and maintain confidentiality.
• Be able to relate well to a diverse range of people.
• Be able to listen and communicate effectively.
• Participate in training to attain a sound knowledge of Blind Low Vision NZ.
For the Treasurer role, we would be looking for someone with experience in this area
• Travel: attend Committee meetings, once a month (February-November), at Liverpool St.
• Time: up to six hours per month (including two hours for meeting).
