Social Supermarket Personal Shopper

At The Salvation Army, we aim to be a place of support and connection for the community. We provide a number of social support services and programmes, including a social supermarket. We are looking for volunteers to assist our whaanau with their social supermarket shopping experience.

Requirements:

Volunteers must be:

  • Friendly
  • Have basic technology knowledge to operate the tablet and scanner
  • Basic food knowledge is also helpful

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Able to commit to a 3 hour shift
