Go Eco (Waikato Environment Centre) is the Waikato's largest environment hub; we are a voice for the environment, a centre for learning and a catalyst for change. We provide community education, collaborate with and support regional environmental groups, explore the impact of colonisation on the environment, and operate a Bike Hub and Food Rescue Service.
We're looking for volunteers who are passionate about the environment and climate action and who can help us dismantle unwanted and unusable bikes. This way we can keep them out of the landfill while also recovering and rehoming useful parts.

Requirements:

Passionate about bikes, the environment and climate action. Knowledge of bikes, particularly dismantling bikes, preferred.

Time commitment:

3 hour shifts with flexibility between Mon - Fri (10am-1pm or 1pm-4pm). We need as many bikes as possible dismantled before 10th December 2022, in time for our Bike Hub swap meet and garage sale which will raise funds for the Bike Hub.
