Working Hours

Epilepsy New Zealand is a registered national charity working to ensure that people living with epilepsy achieve independence through knowledge and awareness of their condition.
At the same time, Epilepsy New Zealand works to build awareness of epilepsy in the wider community. Our theory of change is simple; if people understand epilepsy then the quality of life for people living with epilepsy will improve.

We are looking for volunteers who can assist our team at our stand at the Fieldays this year. These roles include handing out information, engaging the public to play an interactive game, talking to people about where to access more support or helping them talk to our educator team.

An interest in health and supporting people.
Empathy and understanding toward person with epilepsy’s needs would be advantageous.
We don't expect you to know about the condition as such, as this is the role of our Educators who will be at the stand as well.
We will provide you with some basic information and understanding of Epilepsy prior to the event so you have some background.
The role will require you to be on your feet a lot.

We will provide regular breaks, a branded T shirt, and great company! The Hub provides refreshments for all the exhibitors.

A Police background check is required for this role.
