FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™ Play Off Tournament Volunteers

HCC - H3 Group - EPP
10 February 2023 to 25 February 2023

For the very first time, the FIFA Women’s World Cup will feature a Play-Off Tournament to determine the final three spots for inclusion in the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.

Ten teams from around the world will compete in Hamilton/Kirikiriroa and Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau from 17-23 February 2023, and we need football-loving volunteers across the week to help make this inaugural tournament a huge success.

Volunteers are required to help with a range of roles across a number of sites in Hamilton including Waikato Stadium, training sites, hotels and transport hubs.. It’s going to be a very busy week with New Zealand’s Football Ferns also playing three friendly matches across the week as part of the Tournament.

Volunteers will have an integral part to play in the success of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 with thousands of enthusiastic people needed to boost the workforce across Australia and New Zealand over the next 11 months.

A FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 volunteer programme is being set up, where volunteers are being called upon to join the action on a long-term basis assisting the broader volunteer programme to help take the biggest women’s sporting event ‘Beyond Greatness’.
