We are a warm and welcoming community house looking for someone who has a couple of hours spare each fortnight to pop in and keep our small easy care gardens tidy and weed free. This role does not include lawnmowing. We support our community with big needs and small needs - and think everyone deserves an environment that is tranquil and inviting. If you're someone who might find satisfaction in keeping us neat and tidy - and looking our best - then this is the role for you!
You are welcome to bring your own garden tools and equipment, however everything required is supplied.
Home gardening experience and knowledge is required. This is a physical role that requires bending, kneeling and stretching. We are looking for someone reliable who can work independently within our team environment - having a chat and a morning or afternoon chat is part of the role too, if you wish. You need to be respectful of all people who visit our community house and respect their right to privacy.
