Book Index Volunteer

Our organisation endeavours to preserve the social history of Morrinsville and District and to provide a service to the community by the preservation of artefacts, an archival service, an educational resource and an attraction to visitors who have a particular interest in social history
Many jubilee books, family history books, and district centenary books do not have an index. When researching for historical information about people and places, an index at the back of a book would assist greatly.
This volunteer task would entail reading each page and recording the people, locations, and organisations in an easily accessible format.

By participating in this volunteering opportunity you are helping achieve the following United Nations Sustainability Goals ;
