St John Operations Volunteers help us achieve our mission of improving the health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders, by providing quality care to patients in their local communities.
Duties for this role include:
Assisting with checking, restocking, and cleaning of spare ambulances and equipment ready for operational use.
Delivering ambulances to service providers for repairs and maintenance.
Contributing proactively as a member of the team, working to make things better .
All appointments are subject to satisfactory completion of pre-appointment checks including, but not limited to, drug testing, physical assessment and health check.
For clinical operations roles where you are required to drive, you will be required to meet St John medical standards

The successful candidate will receive specific training to the role, free First Aid course and all the membership benefits St John offers - which also includes free ambulance service to direct family.
1-2 days per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts are 4-8 hours depending on your availability.
