Bellyful nourishes and connects communities by cooking free meals to whānau with babies or young children, who need support. Volunteers are a huge part of what we do and are vital to the support we provide.
We are looking for volunteers to help with our cookathons. We cook once a month, which could either be during a weekday morning shift or a weekday evening shift.
We provide the recipes and all the ingredients and utensils to cook. Once the meals are all cooked they are packaged and stored in a freezer, ready to be picked up for delivery.
We require people to be able to drive themselves to the location to cook.
Need to be able to work with team for the cookathons.
You need to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
You do not need to be trained, but any previous experience preparing food is beneficial.
We require you to volunteer at least 3 times a year in some way.
Cookathons are once a month and alternate between day and night cooks.
