Music Group Facilitator

Hamilton

Thanks to the contribution of our valuable volunteer team, we run a music group for people who have dementia. We are looking for a music facilitator.

The music facilitator will facilitate the music programme with support from music group volunteers. The facilitator organises content for each session, which may include sing-alongs and video clips run through the data projector along with co-hosting zoom sessions.

Volunteers support our clients as they participate in music group activities - these include playing musical instruments, moving to music and singing along with the music facilitator. You will encourage participants and get alongside them - engaging at a level that matches their ability.

By participating in this volunteering opportunity, you are helping achieve the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goal(s):
Goal 3 – Good Health & Well-Being
