We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with the daily operations of our Five Cross Roads Red Cross Shop. The role of Retail Shop Assistant involves assisting your shop coordinator with any tasks or jobs, whether it be merchandising, restocking the store or serving customers you can gain valuable retail experience all while having the opportunity to meet new people and work with our friendly team.
After 6 months, volunteers have the opportunity to undertake a Service IQ Retail Training Level 1-4 NZQA qualification at not cost to the volunteer.
Reliable and able to follow instructions.
Ability to work apart of a team.
Enjoy working in a retail environment and able to interact with customers.
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Half day shifts on a roster.
