Ship's Ahoy - Greeters Needed

Paeroa

Meet and greet people from all around New Zealand and welcome them to the Maritime Museum. You will provide a warm welcome, take entrance fees (by eftpos or cash), provide directions, answer questions and generally make their experience of our museum the best possible. There are other tasks that can be done when you are not so busy - like helping to keep the museum shipshape - however you are welcome to bring a book, etc to help fill those quieter times.
We are a happy team that enjoy each other's company and would welcome some additional help so that we can showcase the many treasures and significant items we have in our care.

By participating in this volunteering opportunity, you are helping achieve the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goal(s): Goal 4 – Quality Education
