Board Secretary


We are a well organised committee with a passion for ensuring the Cambridge Town Hall remains a valuable and utilised resource for our community. We are looking for someone to support the work of our committee. The tasks are as follows:

  • Preparing, collating and distributing the meeting agendas
  • Minute taking during board meetings. Ensuring the board resolutions and discussions are recorded accurately
  • Typing and distributing minutes and ensuring that minutes are signed off. Keeping records of actions lists with deadlines
  • Maintaining interest register
  • Assisting the chair with correspondence, both in- and out-going and presenting to the board meeting
    There may be other tasks that require your help, from time to time.

We are looking for some who enjoys working collaboratively with others, is accurate and punctual, with good time management, who can work to deadlines.
You must have great computer skills, be familiar with google drive/applications, and have your own computer and internet access.
You must be able to demonstrate competence in the tasks outlined above, be able to make a regular commitment to attending meetings (held fortnightly) and have a positive "can do" attitude.

Time commitment:

Board meetings take place in the evenings and for around 2 hours every fortnight.
Additional time to prepare meetings in cooperation with the chair, would be required.
