Marching Judge

Hamilton

The Marching Waikato Assn is based in Hamilton and we provides sporting opportunities for ages 4 years upwards. We have a current membership of 182 members and are always encouraging others to join us.

Judging is one of the most important and rewarding aspects of the of our sport, Marching. We are always looking to recruit new judges and have training programs in place, so no experience necessary (although knowing some Marching basics would possibly be helpful). Each phase is judged on set criteria and we have a wealth of knowledge from existing judges, as well as ongoing training and workshops. It is a rewarding area of our sport, and specific grading exams can be done. Why not contact us for more information.

Requirements:

An eye for detail, a love of music, people and commitment to do what is best for our teams.

Time commitment:

Our competitions are usually every Saturday in November, one or two in December, and all through February until mid March.
During the winter months our Chief Judge runs meetings and trainings to suit the judges on our team.
