We are looking for volunteers who have creative abilities and who would be happy to teach and share these skills in a Corrections environment. You will receive full and ongoing support to enable you to be effective in this role.
In particular we are looking for people able to teach the skill of;

If you answered yes to the above, we need to talk. We are looking for a special person, or a team of people, to come and teach art or music skills inside the prison to our men in care.

(COVID Vaccination Required) As you are working on site in the prison environment, we will give you full induction and site training. Ideally you are reliable, positive, encouraging and non-judgmental. Someone who is patient and enjoys sharing their knowledge would be great. We reward our volunteers with recognition and events throughout the year, along with petrol vouchers to assist with travel expenses.

You will be working independently with a group of men that are keen to learn a new skill.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

One day per week between Monday and Thursday between the hours of 0900 - 1100 or 1300 - 1500.
