Van Driver - Out of School Care: Under the general supervision of the OSCAR Manager, the Driver has the primary responsibility for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the children, staff and volunteers during van transportation to and from the Community Centre.
GENERAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
It is also the role of the Van Driver - Out of School Care to:
Guarantee that the Van is clean and in proper working condition at all times.
Determine and follow safe and efficient travel routes.
Ensure all children are in age appropriate child safety restraints.
Maintain all transportation records required by the programme.
Evacuate children in case of emergency.

Drivers MUST be over the age of 20 years
Clean full driver’s license
Return a satisfactory Police Record check, and maintained on-going

Build constructive and effective relationships with managers, staff, and all key stakeholders
Ability to use initiative and work autonomously, as well as part of a team

We are after a team of volunteers who can cover a range of Shifts.
Monday to Friday 8.15am-9am, and Monday to Friday 2.45pm-4pm.
We need volunteers who can commit to this role long term, as our service operation relies on this!
