Events Team Member

Cambridge, Hamilton, Te Awamutu

• We are looking to build a team of volunteers who would be available to help out at a variety of different events. This is not a regular role but rather an opportunity to participate when needed. You'll gain free entry to the events you will assist with.
• Events might include such things as the Motorhome Show and Targa Rally to name a couple. Opportunities may crop up to extend on this and attend other events e.g planning galas and presentations.
• Sometimes a free t-shirt will be offered also depending on the event you will attend.
• All other benefits that registered and active volunteers receive, include free entry to our showcase site and 10% discount off retail at our Visitor Centre will apply to this role.
Depending on skills you may be asked to work hand in hand with the Volunteer Coordinator and assist with marketing events as well.


Able to provide time to attend various events and undertake various roles. It will depend on your skills as to where you may be placed.
Skills required can include:
Organisational Skills.
Networking Savvy.
A Basic Understanding of Events.
Client-first approach.
Negotiation and budgeting.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

No set time as events are random, however, meetings will be arranged prior to an event happening and you will be expected to attend.
Random - no set days as every event is different.
