Brain Tumour Support NZ (BTSNZ) is a national not for profit organisation and our Vision is that everyone living with a brain tumour has the support, information and access to best treatments, so they feel less afraid, less alone and more empowered.

The Trust is seeking an experienced Clerk/Minutes Taker who has an understanding of working alongside a Board and providing administrative assistance to the team.

The key component of this role is being the primary minute taker for the Board of Trustee meetings, generally held on a monthly basis. You’ll be a team player, have excellent minute taking experience, be well organised and methodical. Minutes taken at the meeting will need to be taken with care and attention to detail, typed up and emailed to the Board of Trustees within the week following the Board meeting. Meetings are generally held via Zoom as Trustees live in different parts of the country.

Excellent Minute Taking skills.
Great computer and typing skills.
Strong attention to detail is a must.
Ability to meet deadlines easily whilst displaying an outstanding attention to detail.
Experience of Zoom meetings or willingness to learn

Time commitment:

Monthly 1 - 2 hourly Zoom meetings, usually held between 6pm and 8pm on an evening.
Writing up and emailing the minutes to the Board of Trustees needs to be carried out within the week after the BOT meeting. This can be done to suit your own time schedule within that.
