Use your people skills to build rapport, to establish motivation, and help our clients find meaningful and fulfilling volunteering opportunities. You would be interviewing clients in-person or over the telephone to find the most appropriate volunteering opportunity, then providing guidance on the use of the online system.
You will provide follow up to our online clients via telephone to ensure they are connected with the organisation they have applied to.
An excellent telephone manner is essential in addition to a reasonable level of computer competence and confidence.
You will receive role related induction and training as well as health and safety, human rights and privacy training before working independently.

We are seeking someone who has previous customer service experience who has:
an ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds;
good listening skills with a non judgmental attitude;
has a friendly and understanding personality;
has knowledge of New Zealand Community Groups and not-for-profit sector;
is able to work as part of a team;
can ensure and maintain confidentiality.
For this role you need to be available for a regular morning or afternoon time slot, on an ongoing basis for a minimum of six months.
We have a variety of shift options to choose from:-
9:30-12:30 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday morning.
12:30-4pm Thursday afternoon.
