Regional Hub Co-ordinator (Potential Shared Role)

This volunteer role in the Waikato and Taupo regions works as an effective member of the Area Manager’s Team providing pastoral care support, leadership and direction to the regional team and local co-ordinators (local leaders). In consultation with the Area Manager and team encourage and support growth and capacity building. Provide advice to inform decisions made about growth, development and delivery of quality programmes in the region.

Requirements:

Able to create a welcoming and inclusive culture, act as a role model and participate in regular review discussions with direct reports.

Facilitate regular Regional Team meetings, which may be virtual, in order to plan for and deliver on objectives.

Contribute to growth in membership of both volunteers and girls through effective team functioning, quality leadership and delivery of a well-balanced, relevant girl programme. Ensure that Local Team Coordinators take responsibility for overseeing quality unit programmes.

Ensure that there is a strong girl voice in the Region, that girls are heard and listened to and have opportunities to engage with the functioning in Regional Hub.

A Police background check is required for this role.
