Christmas at the Lake is a family-focused event on Saturday 19 December from 5:00 to 10:00 pm. This free event features eight dance groups, two live bands, free face painting for kids, Santa giving away lollies, food stalls, slides and rides, fireworks and loads of fun for the whole family.
We want videographer/s to capture the exciting moments in this event, it could be the participants showing their wow skills or when the crowd goes wow! You can bring your video camera or you could borrow ours.
By participating in this volunteering opportunity you are helping achieve the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goal:
Goal 11 – Sustainable Cities & Communities.
It would be ideal if you have some experience in filming and have your own video camera. We could lend our video camera to you only if you have a lot of experience in filming. If you have limited experience and don't have a video camera, it is difficult for us to lend you our video camera.
If you love music, dance and love to capture people relaxing and enjoying, kids running wild getting free facepaint and going on the rides and slides, you are the one we are looking for!
You could edit the footage on your own and make a highlight video and give us the raw footage for us as well to make a highlight video.
The event starts at 5 pm and goes until 10 pm with spectacular fireworks.
The venue is Innes Common, Hamilton Lake.
