Coastcare Planting Bees - Waikato West Coast

Raglan, Other, Port Waikato, Kāwhia

Please help us restore the beautiful Waikato coast. We’re coordinating coastal planting bees at sites along the Waikato West Coast throughout winter

You can choose to come to one or all of our events - join us at Ruapuke (July 11th), Port Waikato (date tbc), Raglan (date tbc), Aotea (June 6th), Kāwhia (date tbc Sept), Te Maika (June 5-6th), Marokopa (June 27th), Kiritehere (June 13th) and/or Nukuhakari (date tbc). These planting events are an opportunity to take positive action for our environment and are a great day out for all ages. We'll have some spades and snacks but please wear footwear suitable for digging, bring a water bottle, a spade if you have one and gloves if you want them.

Time commitment:

Planting bee events are up to 4 hours long, but you can come for all or part of each event.
