Do you enjoy chatting to people on the phone? We need people like you to make calls to our students and volunteers to make check how they are going, and to let them know about things RYALT is doing. Because we work in the cloud it is easy for them to become isolated so they need those friendly phone calls. We will give you a script, but you are welcome to adapt it so you sound more like yourself. It’s just a guide.
Calls can include ringing places like libraries to check if they need more bookmarks sent out. Our marketing team also need people to ring companies on our database to check the contact details we have are accurate. You can choose the type of call you prefer making. There is quite a variety of different options.
All phone calls are made using internet phone (VOIP) from your home computer or mobile phone, and you will need to enter comments into a spreadsheet so a computer and internet access are essential but it won't cost you anything for the calls. We have an IT volunteer who can help you with setup.
