You will enjoy working in a small, friendly team and assisting our researchers in locating indexed items within The Treasury collection. Ideally you will have an interest in genealogy and/or local history, and be keen to learn more about The Treasury's holdings. You will retrieve information in various printed and electronic formats, and have the capacity and desire to learn new systems and processes relative to The Treasury and its archive.
You will gain a personal sense of satisfaction from expanding your own knowledge of the history of Thames-Coromandel and Hauraki regions, helping to protect and preserve the region's history; and making these resources available to everyone.
