Antiques and Collectibles Assistant


Habitat for Humanity is a charitable organisation that is working towards a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We do this through home repairs, progressive home ownership, social rentals. To generate these funds we sell the donations that are kindly donated to us by the community and local businesses in our Restore.
If you are a knowledgeable person in the area of antique china, glassware, cutlery and furniture you could assist us to price our donations. We often are donated items for sale that could have more significant value and need support to identify these items.


We are looking for someone who has love all things old and possibly knowledge of the value of antique items or have the ability to research online. This person will take responsibility to sort, clean and price them instore. You will also be responsible for this area in displaying the items and deciding what will be placed on our Trade Me site.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Minimum of 4 hours weekly
