Local Coordinator for Girls

This role is an integral position in the voluntary structure of GirlGuiding in NZ and an exciting opportunity for you to lead a group of passionate volunteers! As a Local Co-ordinator you will work with a team of Leaders to help them deliver an engaging, relevant and fun programme. Build strong, collaborative relationships with your team and the wider Guiding community. Provide direction and support to your team. Maintain a girl-led focus to ensure girls have a voice.
Extensive volunteer support provided through a dedicated team. You will also be given all the training and information needed to do a great job!

Requirements:

Requirements:
A passion for mentoring and leading a team of volunteers. We are looking for helpful, empowering and community-focussed people to inspire our volunteers to be supported in their role. No previous knowledge of Guiding is needed, although experience in leading a team would be beneficial.
A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Time is very flexible, and will vary depending on other members of your team and your own availability. This role will require a commitment of 3-5 hours per week. We offer a degree of flexibility to work around your existing schedule.
