There are a few steps to this task which can be done in bulk, and in stages:

  1. Cut a 30cm x30cm board out of Coreflute (donated real estate sign).
  2. Cover the coreflute in a plain Duraseal covering.
  3. Laminate a Core Board page (page with 77 pictures).
  4. Cellotape Core Board to the covered board, allowing space for the fringe strips above.
  5. Cut out the fringe strips.
  6. Glue the fringe strips back to back. Check master to make sure the correct ones are glued together.
  7. Laminate the glued fringe strips. Allow a 3 cm space at the top for hole punching.
  8. Use the 3 hole punch to punch holes in the top of the fringe strips. Line up the fringe strip so it is punched evenly with the middle hole in the middle of the fringe strip.
  9. Assemble the laminated fringes in order.
  10. Attach to the Coreboard with metal rings.
Requirements:

Patience, perseverance. Attention to detail will be helpful.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

It would be best to spend 2 - 4 hours at a time on this task. We are happy for some of the cutting out to be done at home, if preferred. You are welcome to set a regular time to come into the Centre each week to work on the coreboards.
