We are a licenced early childhood center based at Waikato Hospital. It is important that children have opportunities for play when they are in stressful situations such as hospital. In this role you will assist us to manage our toy resources which is a vital part of supporting our play programme.
This role involves cleaning and disinfecting toys and games, laminating resources, making up activity packs and generally assisting the Hospital Play Specialist team.
Protective aprons and gloves are provided along with in-depth training to ensure correct procedures are followed.
You need to be reliable, trust worthy and able to follow directions.
Ability to work independently is essential.
This role involves standing for periods of time, and the tasks can be repetitive.
A minimum of 3 hours per week is required. Monday to Friday. Preferably Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
