We are a Not- For- Profit Organisation supporting and advocating for all hearing impaired / their families / whaanau in our community, including Schools and Rest Homes.
Our two retiring committee members joined our organisation to gain experience and knowledge but have had to resign due to careers and a location move so we are seeking new members to join us.
The current committee are very passionate about education and support for the hearing impaired and our community. The committee meets once per month at the premises and our committee members also assist with 2 regular fundraisers annually which don’t ask for much time commitment. There is no obligation for you to assist with the fundraisers if you do not want to.
To remain active in our community we need a committee / quorum to operate. If you have the time please consider our organisation. We would love to see fresh new faces join the team who can bring some new ideas and excitement to the committee.

Attend a 1 to 2 hour monthly committee meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of every month - we are able to be flexible and change the day/time to suit the right candidate.
Non compulsory fundraising events - 2 regular events per year - up to 2 hourly shifts is often required for these events if possible.
