Artefact Documenting


This position requires a volunteer who is happy to handwrite descriptions, measurements and, research information about our artefacts that need to be accessioned (added) into our collection. A form is provided with each object so the volunteer can record the required information ready for someone else to type it into the museum's software program Past Perfect. Cleaning of some objects may also be required.

Please note this role is located in Morrinsville (around 30 minutes drive from Hamilton).

Time commitment:

Negotiable times. A weekly commitment would work well. 1 - 5 hours per week. The museum is also open on a Sunday if that suits a volunteer.
