We are searching for someone who is keen to work with offenders, helping them to make cat scratching posts, which will be donated to New Lives Animal Rescue and TA care so they can sell and help fundraise for their charities. You would be teaching basic carperntry skills to the offenders. The individual (s) will be helping the prisoners and supervise them using tools showing them the ropes where needed. This will be a weekly session, or more if you are available.


Basic carpentry and general "handyman" skills.
You will need your own transport as there is no public transport to the prison.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

2-3 hours per week
