Worker Bees for a Working Bee - Saturday September 5th


Weeding plots, mulching paths with wood-chips, using a wheelbarrow

Morning tea is supplied but no hot drinks (no kitchen). Bring your own thermos if you like.


Our workers need to be able to balance on our sloping ground. The gardens are on a hillside and are not flat.
You need to wear closed in footwear, such as sturdy sneakers, gumboots or boots and have clothing suited to all weather conditions.
A sun hat and sunscreen if it is sunny, warm gear if it is cold.
Please be able to follow instructions, get along well with others and enjoy working in a team.
You don't need to be seriously fit, but if you are we can set you a challenge.

We will feed and water you.

Time commitment:

September 5th from 9 to 12 noon or part of that time.
