The social media volunteer role is inclusive of:
Reporting to the store manager when you arrive at the ReStore for a briefing on if there are specific things that they wish to promote that week.
Taking wide angle photos of the store, and close up photos of stock - pick out items that interest you!
Uploading pictures taken at the ReStore to Facebook.
Scheduling Facebook posts to publish throughout the week - Posts can be scheduled to publish at different times of the day. For example, a morning post could be scheduled at 7am-8:30am (this targets people looking at Facebook before they commute to work), and from late morning, to afternoon – e.g. 11am – 7pm (allows for people to look at Facebook during breaks, and after work).
This is inclusive of a ‘what’s in store Wednesday’ post and photos of what is currently at the ReStore.
You should have your own device (camera, phone etc.) to take good quality photographs.
Attention to detail and working knowledge of Facebook.
Requires good writing skills (able to write engaging Facebook posts and attach pictures) .
1-2 hours weekly (store visit) plus time at home to load photos and write posts.
