Singing, Dancing or Drumming Workshop Assistant

The role of a workshop volunteer is to help facilitate music and performance based programmes for young people with disabilities aged 6 to 25.
You can choose if you wish to be involved with dance, singing or drumming each workshop is on a different evening.
Applicant must be aged 18 or over. You will gain experience working with young people within a performance environment and experience working with different disabilities and a wide age group.

Requirements:

It is not essential for applicants to have previous experience of spending time or working with people with disability, however you need to be empathetic to the Jammers needs.
Music skills are helpful but not essential as long as you are enthusiastic.
Applicants must be 18 or over.
Willing to try new things and have loads of fun.
Confident working with young people.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Workshops are run from 6:30 to 8pm once a week throughout the school terms.
